Delete account

You can delete your Mahfouz account and all of its data at any time.

Delete from the app

Open the Mahfouz app and sign in.
Go to Account → Delete account.
Confirm the request.

Grace period

Deletion is scheduled after a 3-day grace period. During that time the account cannot be used, and you can cancel the deletion by signing in and choosing to restore the account. After the grace period the account is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

What is deleted?

Your account data: name, email, mobile number, hashed password and any linked Google or Apple sign-in.
All invoices, their details and stored photos.
Your profile photo.
Push tokens and scheduled reminders.

Backups or technical logs may persist for a limited time before they are overwritten automatically. Usage analytics and crash reports held by Firebase are deleted according to its retention periods.

If you are a guest

“Delete my data” on the Account page deletes your invoices, their photos and the guest account immediately; only the device flag remains (as described in the privacy policy), and deleting does not restore the free use.

Can’t access the app?

Send a deletion request from the email registered on your account and we will process it after verifying that you own the account.
