Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the Mahfouz app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. The Service

Mahfouz lets you store photos of your purchase invoices, extract their details automatically, and receive reminders before warranty periods end.

2. Beta

The Service is currently in beta. Features may change, the Service may be interrupted, and errors may occur. Keep the originals of important invoices.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Upload unlawful or offensive content, or content you have no right to upload.
Try to access other users’ accounts or data, or the Service’s systems, without permission.
Disrupt or overload the Service, or access it by automated means other than the app and website.
Use the Service for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.

5. Your content

The invoice photos and data you upload remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them — including sending them to AI providers for extraction — only as needed to provide the Service to you, as described in the privacy policy.

6. AI extraction

Invoice details are extracted automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting the data before relying on it.

7. Warranty reminders

Warranty reminders are sent on a best-effort basis; we do not guarantee they arrive on time or at all (for example when notifications are disabled on your device). Do not rely on them alone for important deadlines. The warranty terms themselves are set by the seller or manufacturer, not by Mahfouz.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, missed warranty claims, or loss of data arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or where the law requires it.

10. Changes

We may change these terms and will post the updated version here. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its competent courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
